Submission Format

To attract participants of a diverse set of backgrounds we will allow for submissions in three different kinds of formats:

  1. 4 page research paper describing the author’s current or ongoing work and research results

  1. 4 page position paper stating the interest in the field, directions for future research, research questions, and relevant work

  1. 2 page position paper plus a video (30 sec – 2 minutes) of mobile interaction involving some novel form of bodily interaction such as movement, gesture or touch or other modality

All written submissions should adhere to the MobileHCI extended abstracts format. Contributions eligible for presentations will be selected by a committee of peer reviewers.

Contributions are required to be anonymized before submission.

Regarding the videos: we place no importance on the quality of the video. Instead, the focus should be on illustrating a particular aspect of interaction involving aspects of the body, e.g. touch or movement. Spoken language or narration in the videos should be in english.
