Forschungsinteressen
My research interests are centered around immersive information visualization and especially how tangible interaction can be realized in this field. In short: how users can literally get in touch with information. This ranges from the question of what physical objects can be used to control and manipulate visualizations and how thereby useful insights can be gained, to the process of creating lightweight physical representations of visualizations with fast and efficient methods, and also to the automation of classical visualization techniques.
