This semester the theme of the course is "make the invisible visible with AR". All projects will deal exclusively with this topic. Therefore, other AR projects are not possible this semester.

In the practical AR course, you will dive into the fascinating world of augmented reality to represent invisible processes in nature and explain them visually directly on the object or the environment. During the course, you will develop an AR application to make scientific concepts and physical principles more understandable and accessible, such as the motion of planets in the solar system or the representation of electric fields around objects. Combine your passion for science with AR technology while exploring new opportunities for science communication.

All applications should include the following information:

  • Describe relevant expertise, for example from previous courses, jobs and other projects, if any, that demonstrate your skills in one or more of the following areas: general programming, Unity, Augmented/Virtual Reality, user experience, user studies, prototyping.
  • Briefly describe your motivation for participation in this course.

Remark

Please note that due to the engaging nature of the group projects, students often spend more than the allocated time on the development of their prototypes. This is especially true for the group project implementation scheduled during the lecture break.
