Research Interests
As a Pre-Doc at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Digital Health and Prevention and a PhD candidate at LMU Munich since September 2022, he works with key stakeholders (mainly at the Landeskliniken Salzburg and Institut für Sportmedizin des Landes Salzburg), such as patients, clinicians and health informaticians, to design human-centred and accessible technologies, developing a research agenda around human-computer and human-AI interaction with patient-generated health data. He has also supported stakeholder involvement in the design and development of the Modular Open Research Platform for Digital Health at the LBI-DHP. His research broadly falls under human-data interaction in the context of digital health, particularly along the use case of cardiovascular disease (CVD) rehabilitation and prevention. Current research endeavours:- Better understanding the potential and challenges of utilising patient-generated health data in shared-decision making for physical activity planning
- Designing a transparency model and novel interaction patterns for health data sharing
- Leveraging generative AI to support data sense-making shared-decision making and physical activity planning
