Logging
As a measure to prevent abuse, the following information is recorded for each access:
- IP address of the computer requesting a page
- date and time of the request
- access method/function specified by requesting computer
- access status of web server (file transferred, file not found, command not executed, etc.)
- name of file that was requested
- referrer; URL from which the file or the desired function was requested
The recorded data is used for the purpose of identifying and pursuing invalid access and attempts to gain access to the web server and - in anonymized form - to optimize web content.
The logged data is saved for a period of three months and then deleted.
Cookies
A cookie contains information which the web server sends to the browser. It is stored on the local computer by the browser, and is later sent back to the server when the next request is made. This allows the implementation e.g. of user-specific settings.
On this website, a cookie is used to remember the language that was last selected. Another cookie stores the selected font size. The cookies are automatically deleted one year after the last language selection or font size change. A user can delete a cookie earlier using their browser.

Should you send us an email, your email address will only be used for correspondence.
Web Analytics
We analyze usage of our website in anonymized form with Piwik. We store and process usage data only on our own servers. We do not share usage data with third parties.
We anonymize all visitors' IP addresses before analysis by replacing the last two bytes with zeroes (192.168.0.0). We do not store or process complete IPs.
If you do not opt-out of the analysis, Piwik will store one or more cookies on your computer. You can prohibit or delete cookies in almost all browsers' preferences.
If you do not agree with our analyzing your visit in anonymous form, you may opt-out using one of these methods:
- We respect your browser's global "Do Not Track" setting, if you activate it. Your visits will not be analyzed.
- You may opt-out by mouse click further down. If you do, Piwik will store an "opt-out cookie" in your browser and none of your visits will be analyzed. Please be aware that you have to opt-out again, if you ever delete cookies in your browser.
