Research Interests
My research focuses on the fate of personal data after a person passes away. As digitalization increases, the amount of data individuals accumulate grows significantly, raising important questions about how this data should be handled posthumously. Users often want their data managed according to their preferences, whether through deletion or transfer to specific individuals. Relatives may seek access for emotional or legal reasons, while broader societal concerns center on privacy, security, and ethics. My research explores solutions that can facilitate data inheritance, ensuring that personal data is handled in line with the deceased person's wishes.Teaching
