Task
Problem Statement
This work aims to develop and evaluate innovative interaction techniques that enable users to effectively explore and analyze large datasets in for example Virtual Reality (VR) or Augmented Reality (AR). In particular, the techniques should enable the selection of spatial regions and temporal segments and at the same time enable seamless interaction in both dimensions. This is a programming heaving thesis.
Tasks
- Perform a literature review
- Design of interaction techniques
- Implementation of interaction techniques
- Evaluation of techniques
- Write a thesis and present your findings in the Disputationsseminar
- (Optional:) co-write a research paper
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of user research
- Willingness to dive into / Experience with VR/AR programming
