Forschungsinteressen

My research sits at the intersection of Usable Privacy and Human-Computer Interaction. I explore how to design privacy-aware, human-centered technologies for intelligent and sensor-rich environments. This includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:
  • Understanding Mental Models and Privacy Concerns regarding Emerging Technologies
  • Implementing and Evaluating Privacy Mitigation Strategies for Intelligent Environments
  • Tangible Privacy Mechanisms
  • Human-Centered AI
