Goal of the thesis is to build a framework consisting of software components for TUI/tabletop applications that can be connected and modified visually. The framework should consist of pre-built often used components (e.g. input components for fiducial and multitouch tracking, output components of the Surface SDK), but also custom code can be implemented and packaged as visual component. Tasks:
- Basic framework for visually modifiable software components, that can be connected to form an executable program
- Basic set of input and output components for tabletop applications
- Evaluation of framework for a)building a prototype, b)agile adaption of prototype during usability evaluations
