FlyEye
Flyeye is a novel concept for prototyping touch-sensitive non-planar surfaces. The ends of individual optical fibers are embedded into the sensing surface and bundled together at the other end. By analyzing the light patterns on the bundled end the system recognizes proximity and location of touch. A fast yet powerful relative calibration technique 'untangles' the fiber bundle.
