Designing for Sensitive Places I

Task

This is the first part to researching about the design for sensitive places: Sensitive locations, such as historic, protected sites are still mainly remote locations. And yet, often their purpose is to serve as community space which includes the habits and expectations from nowadays society. In this work, you will tackle the question what a sensitive place is and how to design for it for a long-term lifetime in mind. This work can also be done in collaboration with a second person.

Tasks:

  • Design Reserach.
  • User Studies.
  • Low-fidelity Prototyping.
  • Review and test your prototype.

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge about user experience design.
  • Basic knowledge about hardware and/or software for prototyping.
