The work will be assessed on the basis of the practical implementation as well as the written elaboration. Special achievements in programming or system construction should also be presented convincingly in the elaboration (which can be done in a short and exemplary form). In order to achieve an evaluation that is as objective as possible, the evaluation scheme given below is used. The grades for the individual sub-aspects assessed with a weighting factor (GW) form the overall grade.
Fulfillment of the original task, relative to the difficulty (GW = 6)
Practical implementation (GW = 16):
Independent finding of solutions (GW = 4)
- Creativity and innovation of the self-developed solutions (GW = 2)
- Independently acquired specialist knowledge (GW = 2)
Systematics, assessment of workload (GW = 4)
- Systematic approach to developing solutions (GW = 2)
- Compliance with milestones set in consultation with the supervisor (GW = 1)
- Timely independent recognition of dead ends and, if necessary, correction of the schedule in consultation with the supervisor (GW = 1)
Stability and usability (GW = 4)
- Stability and fault tolerance of the implemented system (GW = 2)
- Ease of use of the implemented system (GW = 2)
User study (GW = 4)
- Planning and implementation (GW = 2)
- Evaluation (GW = 2)
Written elaboration (GW = 20):
Content quality (GW = 11)
- Freedom of content and completeness (GW = 3)
- Own contribution / originality of the solution of the theoretical part (GW = 4)
- Inclusion of relevant literature (GW = 4)
Argumentation and classification (GW = 5)
- Task definition, classification, introduction (GW = 2)
- Outline, derivation of the solution, chain of arguments (GW = 2)
- Final assessment, summary, conclusions (GW = 1)
Representation (GW = 4)
- External form, spelling (GW = 1)
- Clarity of the text / appropriateness of the means of presentation (GW = 2)
- Form of the sources (GW = 1)
