Abstract

With the widespread adoption of smartphones, the phenomenon of "phubbing" (phone snubbing) has become increasingly prevalent, posing significant challenges to meaningful social interactions. This thesis includes a literature review of current approaches and explores interventions aimed at mitigating the negative effects of phubbing while fostering deeper and more meaningful social connections. Evaluation, e.g. through a controlled lab study to evaluate the effectiveness of selected interventions.
