News
- Aug 26th, 2019: Registration for the second exam is now available via UniWorX.
- Aug 1st, 2019: The exam review takes place in room 450 (Frauenlobstr. 7a) on Aug 1st, 2019 at 2pm. Registration is available via UniWorX.
- Jun 25th, 2019: Registration for the exam is available via UniWorX.
- Jun 18th, 2019: There will be no lecture on Jun 19th, 2019.
- Jun 12th, 2019: Exercise 7 will span two weeks. The tutorial cycle starting on Jun 19th will therefore be offered via consultation hours (Frauenlobstr. 7a, room 443). Regular tutorials resume on Jun 26th.
- May 27th, 2019: The tutorial on Thursday will henceforth be offered in room 357 at Frauenlobstr. 7a.
- May 25th, 2019: The tutorial on Monday at 4pm has been canceled.

Contents
In Human-Computer Interaction 1, we look at the information processing of humans (models, physiological and psychological basics, operational processes), the technical realization of user interfaces (input and output devices, interaction style) and present human-centered design processes, evaluation techniques, guidelines and standards for usability.
This course is eligible for the following course of studies:
- Bachelor media informatics
- Bachelor informatics (computer science) as "extended topic" (see information regarding bachelor informatics and media informatics (german) for details)
- Bachelor art and media
- Diploma media informatics and informatics

Tutorial
The notions presented in the lectures are then applied in the tutorials. We will award bonus points for the presentation and follow-up discussion of submitted exercises. More information on this will be given in the first lecture.
