Syllabus
This course provides an overview of techniques for creating digital media. It covers a variety of topics:
- Hardware-related aspects of media technology (input/output technologies, film/video technology, etc.)
- Information on media design and stylistic elements
- Practical work on the creation and editing of various media products (photos, videos, audio, social media)
In the lecture, the topics are covered in such a way that the topics in the practical exercises and lab sessions are each grounded in the relevant technical background provided in the lecture.
The target audience is second-semester undergraduate students majoring or minoring in Media Informatics.
