The topic of the course is:
Usable Privacy and Security for the Internet of Things

In contrast to previous semesters, students will thus likely work on projects that go beyond smartphones and apps. The course will be held in English.

Interested Mediainformatics students can apply via Uniworx until 05.10.2015. Applications have to include the following information:

• Bachelor or Master
• Describe relevant expertise, for example from previous courses, jobs and other projects, if any, that demonstrate your skills in one or more of the following areas: general programming, mobile application development, Android, privacy/security-related topics, user experience, user studies, prototyping, hardware. Please also self-rate your knowledge in each of these areas on a scale from 1 (no prior knowledge) to 5 (expert knowledge).
• Briefly describe your motivation for participation in this course

Participants will be selected based on this information, and not based on time of application. Nevertheless, if interested, please apply as early as possible!
