- 20.01.2019 As already noted in last week's lecture, there will be a summarizing lecture at February 8th (usual time and place), which will be held by our tutors. To efficiently target all problematic problems, please send us questions and suggestions until sunday February 3rd. Please note that we can only react to topic and questions that are clear and concrete and were sent in time.
- 10.01.2019 The registration for the final exam is now open. Please register via UniWorX until Feb 19th, 12:55pm. You can revoke your registration until Feb 21st, 9am.
- 06.01.2019 There will be no tutorials in the week from January 7th-11th. The tutorials will start again on a regular basis from January 14th on.

Klausur
Die Klausur im Fach "Digitale Medien" findet am Donnerstag, den 28.02.19, von 10-12 Uhr im LMU Hauptgebäude (Geschwister-Scholl-Platz 1) im Raum B 201 statt. Die Klausur ist "Open Book", d.h. Sie dürfen gedruckte und handschriftliche Unterlagen sowie einen nicht programmierbaren Taschenrechner mitbringen.
Nachholklausur
Die Nachholklausur findet am Mittwoch, den 10.04.19, von 10-12 Uhr im LMU Hauptgebäude (Geschwister-Scholl-Platz 1) statt. Die Nachholklausur ist ebenfals "Open Book", d.h. Sie dürfen gedruckte und handschriftliche Unterlagen sowie einen nicht programmierbaren Taschenrechner mitbringen. Der Raum ist M 018. Eine Anmeldung ist nach Ende der Klausur am 28.02. bis zum 08.04.2019 via UniWorx möglich. Die Ergebnisse der Hauptklausur werden rechtzeitig vor Ende der Anmeldefrist bekanntgegeben.
Contents
The lecture gives an introductory overview on the most important basic knowledge for the realization of digital media, covering technical topics as well as topics from perceptual psychology. There are no prerequisites in terms of programming skills or computer science knowledge. The lecture touches a quite broad spectrum of different disciplines (mathematics, physics, telecommunications, medicine). The lecture is the basis for the lecture "Media Technology" which goes into deeper Detail of technology and design aspects. It also provides the basis for more specialized courses on multimedia-related topics.
The lecture course is suitable for:
- Students of Media Informatics, "art and multimedia" (bachelor)
- Studierende Medieninformatik (Bachelor Nebenfach), insbesondere Kunst und Multimedia
The lecture course is not suitable as "Vertiefendes Thema" for Informatik students.
Course Material
The course material is accessible via Moodle. You can use your campus account to login and use the course key presented in the lecture to enroll for "Digitale Medien WS18/19". Exercise sheets need to be handed in via UniWorX. You can also register for the exam there by the end of the semester.
