Research Interests

In general, I am interested in passenger experience of unlimited virtual environments in the confined physical space of a car during non-driving-related activities. Specifically, I work on the virtual restorative environments (VREs) in automated vehicles, which explores the in-car relaxation experience through the simulation of structural, geometric and dynamic patterns of natural environments in virtual reality, in order to enhance the user experience in the future of mobility by reconnecting people with nature. Moreover, I focus on haptic feedback through the rear seat's limited space for interaction in VR/AR/MR.
