We are happy to announce that this instance of PEM will again be supported by Google! Students will work on their own projects in small groups throughout the semester. This time, project topics will likely focus on rethinking concepts for usable privacy and security on mobile devices. Further details will be announced at the start of the course. The course will be held in English.
Interested Mediainformatics students can apply via Uniworx until 07.04.2016. Applications have to include the following information:
- Bachelor or Master
- Describe relevant expertise, for example from previous courses, jobs and other projects, if any, that demonstrate your skills in one or more of the following areas: general programming, mobile application development, Android, privacy/security-related topics, user experience, user studies, prototyping, hardware. Please also self-rate your knowledge in each of these areas on a scale from 1 (no prior knowledge) to 5 (expert knowledge).
- Briefly describe your motivation for participation in this course
Participants will be selected based on this information, and not based on time of application. Nevertheless, if interested, please apply as early as possible!
Schedule
