• 20.03.2012: Die Nachholklausur findet am 30.03. von 10:00 (c.t.) bis 12:00 in Raum D209 im Hauptgebäude statt.
• 19.01.2012: Die Anmeldung zur Klausur ist ab jetzt offen. Anmeldungen sind nur bis zum 03.02.2012 möglich.
• 27.10.2011: Die Übungen am 27. und 28.10.2011 fallen aus.

Contents

Kernthemen der Vorlesung sind die menschliche visuelle Wahrnehmung, Visualisierung multivariater Daten, und Interaktionskonzepte für Visualisierungssysteme. Auf dieser Basis werden Visualisierungsstrategien für Graphen, Netzwerke, Baumstrukturen, Text- und zeitbasierte Daten besprochen. Darüberhinaus werden Techniken zur effizienten Nutzung begrenzter Bildschirmfläche eingeführt.

The lecture course is suitable for:

• Studierende der Medieninformatik (Diplom, Master) oder Informatik (Diplom, Master) mit Medieninformatik-Vorkenntnissen

Diese Lehrveranstaltung kann nur für Master-Studiengänge eingebracht werden. Die Teilnahme ist auch für Bachelor-Studierende prinzipiell möglich (Master-Studierende haben Priorität), allerdings kann die Leistung dann nicht im Bachelor-Studiengang eingebracht werden, sondern kann erst nach einer späteren Immatrikulation in einen Master-Studiengang für diesen eingebracht werden.
